MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor
Omamo has an MCP server. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, or Antigravity, and the app can find, read, and save your links and notes.
Server address
Section titled “Server address”https://omamo.app/mcp
The server uses Streamable HTTP. You sign in with your Omamo account, so there is no key to copy. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way for AI apps to use other services.
How connecting works
Section titled “How connecting works”- Add the server address in your AI app. The steps for each app are below.
- The app opens Omamo in your browser. Sign in with Google if you are not signed in.
- Omamo shows the app’s name and what it asks for. Choose whether it may make changes, then press Allow.
- The browser goes back to the app, and the app can use Omamo.
To disconnect an app, open Settings and press Disconnect under Connected apps. The app loses access at once.
Set up your app
Section titled “Set up your app”Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop)
Section titled “Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop)”- Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
- Type
Omamoas the name andhttps://omamo.app/mcpas the URL. - Choose Connect, then sign in and press Allow.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector first. You can set the read-only tools to always allowed.
Claude Code
Section titled “Claude Code”claude mcp add --transport http omamo https://omamo.app/mcp
In Claude Code, type /mcp, choose omamo, and choose Authenticate.
ChatGPT
Section titled “ChatGPT”In Settings, under Apps, add a custom app (an MCP server) with the address https://omamo.app/mcp and OAuth sign-in. Depending on your plan, ChatGPT asks you to turn on developer mode first.
codex mcp add omamo --url https://omamo.app/mcp
codex mcp login omamo
Or add the server to ~/.codex/config.toml, then run the login command:
[mcp_servers.omamo]
url = "https://omamo.app/mcp"
Cursor
Section titled “Cursor”Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, or to .cursor/mcp.json in a project:
{
"mcpServers": {
"omamo": {
"url": "https://omamo.app/mcp"
}
}
}
In Cursor’s MCP settings, choose Connect next to omamo.
VS Code
Section titled “VS Code”Add this to .vscode/mcp.json:
{
"servers": {
"omamo": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://omamo.app/mcp"
}
}
}
Choose Start above the server, then sign in when VS Code asks.
Antigravity
Section titled “Antigravity”Open the MCP servers panel, choose the raw config, and add this to mcp_config.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"omamo": {
"serverUrl": "https://omamo.app/mcp"
}
}
}
Other apps
Section titled “Other apps”Any app that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth can connect with the address. If your app only runs local servers, use mcp-remote, which needs Node.js:
{
"mcpServers": {
"omamo": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://omamo.app/mcp"]
}
}
}

Limits
Section titled “Limits”- An app can make 120 tool calls a minute for you, inside Omamo’s usual limits.
- Your plan’s limits apply, as in the app. On Free, you hold 200 saves across the spaces you own.
- The app signs in again by itself every 15 minutes, for up to 30 days.
Safety
Section titled “Safety”- The app acts as you. It sees what you see in Omamo, including spaces other people share with you.
- Saved pages and notes can contain text written to trick an AI. Omamo returns them as data, but keep your app’s confirmation on for tools that change things.
- Connect only apps you trust. Omamo shows where each app sends you back, before you allow it.
- Deleted links and notes stay in the trash for 30 days, so you can restore them.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The app says Omamo is not connected
Section titled “The app says Omamo is not connected”Connect it again. This happens after you disconnect the app, or after 30 days without use.
Sign-in starts over each time
Section titled “Sign-in starts over each time”Clear the app’s saved sign-in for omamo, then connect again. In Claude Code, type /mcp and choose Clear authentication. With mcp-remote, delete the ~/.mcp-auth folder.
The app says there are too many calls
Section titled “The app says there are too many calls”Wait a minute, then try again.
The app says a collection is full
Section titled “The app says a collection is full”That is your Free plan’s limit. Remove some items, or upgrade to Pro.
